Lodz!!

Well, I'm here! Wow, it's so fun to see the people, taste the food, and feel the language come back. I don't think I've said more than a few words in English today, and I haven't seen an American since I left Chicago--that's cool!

I definitely had some adventures in Warsaw (lost buggage, overdrawn checking account) but notwithstanding, I've made it! Yeah!!! I got to visit several friends, stayed an extra day in Warsaw because of the luggage, and made it a tourist stop (looking at some atypical places, like an apartment where I lived for 4 months!).

Lodz is great and it feels good to be back. I've seen a couple of the members and can hardly wait until Sunday when I can see more of them. I'm including a few picture of the office where I'm working, the two other translators that work here (cute, huh?) and the manager that runs most of the business (Marvin, from Costa Rica). The work is good--not too challenging, and yet I'm learning a lot of new words and having fun. Well, the members just showed up and it looks like I'm going dancing tonight! Yeah!
