Playing and Working

Howdy all! Wow, I've been here a week now! Only a handful of those left, but I'm thoroughly enjoying myself and getting some good experience. I did my first translations yesterday - a resume, catholic wedding vows, and some vehicle registration/insurance policies! Not bad at all, and fairly relaxed.
I mentioned in my email that I had a fun bike ride with Ania Dabrowska through a nearby forest. Here are some pictures, and also more of Lodz and some of the members. Just tons of fun!
The last picture is of a family I met
while riding around on a bike Sunday afternoon. It had been a hot day, and so in the evening I borrowed Andrzej's bike to get some fresh air and cool off. I saw this amazing house (the picture is taken in the man's backyard) and was fortunate enough to meet him while he was watering some flowers. He and his wife have traveled the world, and just last year spent over a month traveling through the states--including a stop in Salt Lake City! He invited me to come back the next day (yesterday) and we had a long conversation about religion and Mormonism. He is a very intelligent and well-off man--I've never seen living conditions like this yet in Poland. His house is huge, even in our standard of living, and his yard just beautiful. It was great to share the gospel, and he's asked for a copy of the Book of Mormon, which I will deliver later this week. :)
