London!

So I fell in love. Yep, I want to live in London someday. Although it was short (4 days, 4 nights) it was awesome. If I had more time and money, this is the place I'd come back to. I didn't get to go to any of the musicals, shows, performances, concerts, or ethnic dances. I stayed with Polish friends, made it to a YSA dance, walked all around the most famous spots, went to only 2 museums, and oh how my legs hurt! I've been cruel to my body, yet there is so much to see and do and you just can't stay back at the apartment all day! ;)
Saturday was fun--I had my own beautiful group of 5 Poles showing me around London. We had a ton of fun, lots of laughter, and I just loved the boat ride up the Thames. I ate fish 'n chips, rode in a double-decker bus, took a taxi, went all around the metro system, rode trains and boats, strolled around Hyde park, climbed to the top of St. Paul's, and got just a taste of the city. I'll be back!
Now I'm in Ireland. Adventures continue, some more unexpected than others. Darek woke up at midnight with a severe pain in his side. We went to the hospital in the middle of the night, and after several hours and lots of x-rays, blood tests, and medicine the pain left. It looks like he has a kidney stone, but further testing is needed. How's that for my first night in Ireland! I've got till Saturday here, so I'll make another post with the adventures I find here later.
Love you all!
