Bruce gets the Silver Beaver

Wow. Talk about being delinquent on keeping this family blog up-to-date! It's been a long time since anyone has posted here; but, I guess that our family blog really is now just about Bruce, Barbara, Chelsea, and Erik (although Chelsea and Erik seem to pass most of their news through facebook). Josh & Barbie have their own blog, as do Sam & Jessica.
Despite the lack of postings, we really do have a life. A lot goes on that we need to share with our family and friends so that we can stay better connected. We appreciate the better diligence that they keep regarding their news.

One of the highlights of the first few months of 2009 was Bruce being awarded the Silver Beaver Award by the Great Salt Lake Council of the B.S.A. As we remarked in our Christmas letter, this was totally unexpected and Bruce was very touched by the whole effort and the thoughtfulness of those that nominated him.
